Partnership Covenant

 

I have:

• Admitted my need and dependence upon Christ for salvation from my sins and I have been baptized in obedience to scripture and as a sign of my salvation. (if you have not been baptized – we can schedule this)

 

I believe that…

• The scriptures are God breathed and are the authority for life (2 Timothy 3:16)
• There is only one God (Isaiah 45:5-6)
• Man is by his very nature, fully sinful (Genesis 6:5, Ephesians 2:1-3) and that the penalty for this sin is death (Romans 6:23)
• That Jesus died and rose again for the forgiveness of my sin and the payment of my penalty (Romans 5:8-9)
• Only those who trust in Jesus’ payment for our sin through faith will be made right with God (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

I agree to…

• Be a regular participant in the glorification of God and advancement of the gospel in the community setting of Anchor Church (Hebrews 10:23-25, Matthew 25:14-30, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
  • This is done through participation in worship gatherings, Koinonia Groups, service opportunities within and outside of church, and by generously using our talents, treasures, and time on purpose for the mission of God. 
  • Seek unity among the church and will abstain from sowing discord against the leadership and the members.  (John 17:20-23, Proverbs 6:16-19)
  • Live a life that is worthy of our calling to God (Ephesians 4:1-3)
